GDPR & Blossom Wellbeing Cheshire - What does it mean for you?

Posted on 17 April, 2018 at 7:55

I was contacted by a prospective client last week and asked why I always complete a new client wellbeing consultation as part of the first appointment and why I need this information?

What information do we require?

We need your contact details, your: name, phone number, address, postcode and email address.

We will also need information about your age and health in order for a treatment to go ahead.

We also require a signed consent form, if this is for a child under 16 we need parental consent too.

We need all the details above to match the correct treatment to the symptoms, ensure that it is safe for us to provide the treatments you may ask for and also for insurance purposes.

The questionnaire also provides a starting point to be able to re-assess the treatments are working effectively.

New data protection laws mean we need your permission to stay in touch. I will be emailing my Blossoms later this week with further details.

To ensure I am providing the best possible service to you, I have recently taken an accredited course on GDPR, through the Beauty Guild, and updated my privacy policy accordingly.
