CHAKRA
BALANCING
30 MINS
£45

A little time to come back to yourself

30-Minute Chakra Balancing | £45 | Alderley Edge, Cheshire

Do you ever feel as though you're being pulled in a hundred different directions?

Work, family, responsibilities, everybody else's needs.

Sometimes you don't need a whole afternoon to yourself. You just want a little time to stop, settle and reconnect with how you're feeling.

My 30-minute Chakra Balancing treatment is a shorter, Reiki-based experience centred on the seven main energy centres, known as chakras.

It's an opportunity to get comfortable on my heated treatment bed, step away from the demands of the day and enjoy some time that's entirely yours.

You don't need to know anything about chakras beforehand.

You don't need to meditate perfectly.

And you certainly don't need to arrive feeling particularly spiritual.

Just come as you are.

What is Chakra Balancing?

Within traditional energy healing, chakras are understood as energy centres associated with different aspects of our physical, emotional and spiritual lives.

The word chakra comes from Sanskrit and is often translated as wheel.

There are seven main chakras in the system I work with, each associated with particular qualities and represented by a different colour.

In my practice, I combine my Reiki training and intuitive approach to work with these seven centres, with the intention of encouraging a sense of balance and harmony.

For me, it's about taking some time to reconnect with yourself.

I often meet people who spend so much time looking after everybody else that they barely stop to ask how they're feeling.

And I think it's worth creating space for that question.

Just come as you are

Chakra Balancing - £45

Understanding your seven chakras

You don't need to memorise any of this before coming for a treatment, but if you're curious, here's a little introduction.

ROOT CHAKRA - MULADHARA

Colour: Red | Grounding, stability and security

The root chakra is traditionally associated with feeling grounded, secure and connected to everyday life.

Within chakra teachings, it represents our foundations: that sense of being supported and having somewhere steady to stand.

SACRAL CHAKRA - SVADHISTHANA

Colour: Orange | Creativity, emotions and pleasure

The sacral chakra is associated with creativity, emotional expression, enjoyment and our ability to experience pleasure.

I particularly love the idea of giving ourselves permission to enjoy life, rather than constantly focusing on everything we think we should be doing.

SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA - MANIPURA

Colour: Yellow | Confidence and personal power

The solar plexus chakra is traditionally connected with self-worth, confidence, motivation and our sense of personal power.

It's associated with knowing who you are, making decisions and feeling able to stand up for yourself.

HEART CHAKRA - ANAHATA

Colour: Green | Love, compassion and connection

The heart chakra is associated with love, kindness, forgiveness and relationships.

And that includes the relationship you have with yourself.

Because it's often much easier to show compassion towards somebody else than to offer ourselves that same kindness.

THROAT CHAKRA - VISHUDDHA

Colour: Blue | Communication and self-expression

The throat chakra is traditionally associated with communication, honesty and expressing what we feel.

It's about finding our voice and feeling able to say what we mean.

THIRD EYE CHAKRA - AJNA

Colour: Indigo | Intuition and inner awareness

The third eye chakra is associated with intuition, insight and our ability to look inward.

As somebody who works intuitively, this is an aspect of the chakra system that particularly resonates with my own spiritual practice.

CROWN CHAKRA - SAHASRARA

Colour: Violet or white | Spiritual connection

The crown chakra is associated with spiritual awareness, a sense of connection and our relationship with something greater than ourselves.

You don't have to share any particular religious or spiritual belief to be curious about this part of the chakra system.

These associations belong to traditional spiritual teachings. They aren't medical descriptions of physical organs or scientifically established energy structures.

What happens during your Chakra Balancing treatment?

FIRST, WE'LL HAVE A LITTLE CONVERSATION

When you arrive, I'll welcome you into my treatment room and ask how you're feeling.

If there's anything particular on your mind, you're welcome to share it.

Equally, if you simply want half an hour to yourself, that's absolutely fine.

You don't need to arrive with a problem that needs solving.

I'll explain the treatment and check your preferences before we begin.

GETTING COMFORTABLE

My treatment room at One Inner Beauty Studio in Alderley Edge is warm, cosy and thoughtfully arranged.

There's underfloor heating, a heated treatment bed, soft lighting, beautiful blankets and my lovely floral mural.

I've even climbed onto my own treatment bed to see what my clients see when they're lying there.

I know. I'm quite particular!

But I want you to feel comfortable.

You'll remain fully clothed throughout your Chakra Balancing appointment.

If you need a pillow beneath your knees, an extra blanket or an adjustment to the temperature, just ask.

There's no need to lie there wondering whether you're allowed to move.

Of course you are.

YOUR CHAKRA BALANCING TREATMENT

Once you're settled, I'll work with the seven main chakras using Reiki and my intuitive approach to energy healing.

The treatment is focused on the chakra system rather than the broader, longer experience of my 90-minute Reiki appointment.

My intention is to work towards a sense of energetic harmony and balance within the traditions I practise.

You can close your eyes and enjoy the quiet.

Some people notice warmth, tingling, colours or other sensations during energy work.

Others simply find the time restful.

And some don't notice anything particularly unusual.

That's all absolutely fine.

You don't need to make anything happen.

You don't have to concentrate on a particular colour.

And you certainly don't have to worry about whether you're doing it correctly.

What happens afterwards?

I don't like clients leaving my treatment room wondering what I've experienced during their appointment.

So I make time to share any intuitive impressions or observations that arose during the treatment.

Within my Reiki practice, I may associate particular impressions with different chakras or aspects of the traditional energy system.

I'll explain what I experienced without insisting that it has a particular meaning for you.

Sometimes something resonates immediately.

Other times it doesn't.

That's entirely your decision.

I also enjoy finishing my energy-healing sessions with an oracle card, which offers a little opportunity for reflection before you return to the outside world.

These are spiritual and intuitive practices, rather than medical assessments or diagnoses.

Why choose a shorter Chakra Balancing appointment?

Not everybody wants or needs a long appointment every time.

Sometimes you might fancy a shorter visit because you're busy, you've already enjoyed Reiki with me or you're particularly interested in working with the chakra system.

Chakra Balancing can be a lovely way to create a little space in your diary for yourself.

And that connects with something I've believed for years.

Looking after yourself shouldn't be something you only do when you're running on empty.

I believe in preventative wellbeing.

In making time for yourself regularly, rather than waiting until everything feels completely overwhelming.

I don't think rest should have to be earned.

And I certainly don't think you need to justify wanting half an hour when nobody needs anything from you.

Who is Chakra Balancing for?

You might enjoy this treatment if:

You're curious about chakras and traditional energy healing.

You'd like a shorter Reiki-based appointment.

You want a little time away from everyday responsibilities.

You enjoy spiritual wellbeing practices and would like to explore the chakra system.

You've had Reiki before and fancy a focused session.

You simply want half an hour to relax and reconnect with yourself.

You don't need previous experience of Reiki or chakra work.

Chakra Balancing is a complementary spiritual wellbeing practice, not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.

Frequently asked questions

How long does Chakra Balancing take?

The treatment is advertised as 30 minutes, with 25 minutes allocated in my booking diary.

How much does it cost?

Chakra Balancing costs £45.

What's the difference between Chakra Balancing and Reiki?

Reiki is the Japanese spiritual energy-healing practice at the heart of my work.

Chakra Balancing uses Reiki with a more specific focus on the seven main chakras and their traditional associations.

My full Reiki Experience is a longer, personalised appointment incorporating additional elements such as essential oils, a foot ritual and guided meditation.

Do I need to understand chakras?

Not at all.

I'll explain anything you'd like to know, but you don't need to study the chakra system to enjoy your appointment.

Do I need to believe in energy healing?

You don't have to share my spiritual beliefs.

You're welcome to arrive curious, sceptical or somewhere in between.

Will I need to take my clothes off?

No. You remain fully clothed.

What if I don't feel anything?

That's absolutely fine.

There's no particular sensation you're supposed to experience, and I won't tell you what you should have felt.

Can I book Chakra Balancing if I've never had Reiki before?

Chakra Balancing is a separate, shorter treatment. If you're looking specifically for your first full Reiki appointment with me, I ask that you begin with my 90-minute Reiki Experience.

If you're unsure which treatment to choose, you're welcome to contact me before booking.

How often should I have Chakra Balancing?

There's no fixed schedule.

Some people enjoy occasional shorter appointments, while others incorporate energy work into a regular wellbeing routine.

We can discuss what feels appropriate for you without any pressure to book further sessions.
